Kazliser Syrup by Novalab Lifecare contains Disodium Hydrogen Citrate, a urinary alkalinizing agent used to reduce urine acidity and support the management of selected urinary tract conditions.

Disodium Hydrogen Citrate is metabolized into bicarbonate in the body, helping increase urinary pH and make urine less acidic. This action may provide symptomatic relief from burning urination associated with acidic urine and help manage certain conditions requiring urinary alkalinization.

Kazliser Syrup may be prescribed for selected patients with uric acid kidney stones, excessive urinary acidity or certain urinary symptoms when alkalinizing treatment is medically appropriate.

In patients with uric acid stones, increasing urinary pH can help improve uric acid solubility. However, treatment requires appropriate diagnosis and monitoring because excessive alkalinization may contribute to the formation of other stone types.

Kazliser Syrup does not eliminate bacteria responsible for urinary tract infections and should not be used as a substitute for prescribed antibiotic treatment.
