Conivas-CV 10 Capsules by Novalab Cardiac & Diabetic Care contain Atorvastatin and Clopidogrel, a prescription cardiovascular combination designed for selected patients requiring both cholesterol-lowering and antiplatelet treatment.

Atorvastatin belongs to the statin class of medicines and works by inhibiting HMG-CoA reductase, an enzyme involved in cholesterol production in the liver. It helps reduce low-density lipoprotein (LDL) cholesterol levels, manage dyslipidemia and lower the risk of certain atherosclerotic cardiovascular events.

Clopidogrel is an antiplatelet medicine that works by irreversibly inhibiting platelet P2Y12 receptors. This prevents ADP-mediated platelet activation and reduces platelet aggregation, helping lower the risk of harmful arterial blood clot formation.

Conivas-CV 10 Capsules may be prescribed for selected patients with coronary artery disease, a history of myocardial infarction, certain ischemic cardiovascular conditions or following coronary interventions when both medicines are clinically appropriate.

The combination provides two complementary actions: Atorvastatin helps manage cholesterol levels and atherosclerotic cardiovascular risk, while Clopidogrel helps prevent platelet-related clot formation.
