Koreycin Capsules by Plena Remedies contain Clindamycin, a lincosamide antibiotic prescribed for the treatment of certain bacterial infections caused by susceptible microorganisms.
Clindamycin works by inhibiting bacterial protein synthesis through binding to the bacterial 50S ribosomal subunit. This action helps prevent the growth and multiplication of susceptible bacteria, including certain Gram-positive and anaerobic organisms.
Koreycin Capsules may be prescribed for selected skin and soft tissue infections, dental infections, respiratory tract infections, bone and joint infections, and certain anaerobic bacterial infections when clinically appropriate.
The medicine is generally prescribed when Clindamycin is considered suitable based on the type of infection, bacterial susceptibility and the patient's medical history.
