Kazflam-SR 200 Tablets by Novalab Lifecare contain Aceclofenac 200 mg in a sustained-release formulation. Aceclofenac belongs to the non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) class and is prescribed for managing pain, inflammation and stiffness associated with selected musculoskeletal and joint disorders.
Aceclofenac works by inhibiting cyclooxygenase (COX) enzymes involved in prostaglandin synthesis. Prostaglandins contribute to pain, swelling and inflammatory responses. By reducing their production, Aceclofenac helps relieve symptoms associated with certain painful inflammatory conditions.
Kazflam-SR 200 Tablets may be prescribed for osteoarthritis, rheumatoid arthritis, ankylosing spondylitis and selected musculoskeletal pain conditions when NSAID treatment is clinically appropriate.
The sustained-release formulation is designed to release Aceclofenac gradually over time, providing extended drug delivery compared with conventional immediate-release tablets.
