Earnik-AC Ear Drops by NovaLab Eye Vision are a combination ear medication containing Gentamicin, Clotrimazole, Lignocaine Hydrochloride and Beclomethasone Dipropionate. The formulation is intended for the management of selected external ear canal infections accompanied by pain, itching and inflammation.
Gentamicin is an aminoglycoside antibiotic that helps eliminate susceptible bacteria. Clotrimazole is an antifungal agent that works against certain fungal organisms. Lignocaine Hydrochloride acts as a local anaesthetic to provide temporary relief from ear pain, while Beclomethasone Dipropionate is a corticosteroid that helps reduce inflammation, redness and swelling.
Earnik-AC Ear Drops may be prescribed for certain cases of otitis externa and external ear infections when the combination is clinically appropriate. Treatment should be based on the cause of the infection and examination of the eardrum.
Available in a 5 ml bottle, Earnik-AC Ear Drops should only be used according to a registered medical practitioner's instructions. They should not be used when the eardrum is perforated unless specifically directed by an ENT specialist.
