Clotine-BG Ear Drops are a prescription ophthalmic-free otic formulation containing Gentamicin, Clotrimazole, Lignocaine Hydrochloride and Beclomethasone Dipropionate. This combination is intended for the management of selected external ear canal infections associated with pain, itching, redness and inflammation.

Gentamicin is an aminoglycoside antibiotic that helps eliminate susceptible bacteria responsible for certain ear infections. Clotrimazole is an antifungal agent used against susceptible fungal organisms. Lignocaine Hydrochloride acts as a local anaesthetic to provide temporary relief from ear pain, while Beclomethasone Dipropionate is a corticosteroid that helps reduce inflammation, swelling and irritation.

Clotine-BG Ear Drops may be prescribed for selected cases of otitis externa when the combination of antibacterial, antifungal, anaesthetic and anti-inflammatory ingredients is considered appropriate by a healthcare professional.
