Amorolfine 0.25% is an antifungal for topical use on nails — it treats fungal nail infections (onychomycosis).
What it's used for
Onychomycosis — fungal infection of the fingernails or toenails, usually caused by dermatophyte fungi but also by yeasts and molds.
Typically for mild to moderate infections affecting part of the nail, or as an adjunct to oral antifungals in more extensive cases.
Occasionally used for skin fungal infections when in cream form, though the 0.25% nail product is specifically formulated to penetrate the nail plate.
